Your documents, your privacy.

Most PDF tools process documents on your device. Compress, Protect, Unlock and HTML-to-PDF use our server and are identified before use.

Server processing

PDF uploads are limited to 10 MB. Protect and Unlock send the PDF and supplied password for the requested operation. HTML requests are limited to 2 MB. Compression results are held in memory and expire after 20 minutes; cleanup runs periodically. Waiting reservations do not contain documents or passwords.

Analytics and choices

Google Analytics measures permitted visits, engagement and tool outcomes. Document contents, filenames, passwords, OCR/HTML text and feedback details are excluded. Where enabled and permitted, Advanced Consent Mode sends cookieless measurements when analytics storage is denied. Optional tracking choices do not affect the PDF tools. Use Privacy settings to review or withdraw choices.

Advertising

AdSense advertising is not currently active. Any future Google advertising will use the applicable privacy controls. Google describes its processing at policies.google.com/privacy.

Feedback and retention

Feedback may include the optional name/email and the message you submit. Provide an email if you want a reply; anonymous feedback is accepted. Do not send confidential document information. Feedback is stored privately for up to 180 days, unless deleted earlier. Application analytics, if enabled, are retained for 30 days; Google retention follows the configured account settings. Connection data and temporary abuse-prevention identifiers may be processed for security. Country estimation uses a local IP database, not GPS or an external visitor-IP lookup service.
