Does this change my original file?
No. The tool generates a new download. Your original file is not overwritten.

Options and limitations
Enter and confirm an opening password, then save the encrypted PDF and check that the password is required when reopening it. The output uses AES-256 encryption. Keep the password safely: this tool cannot recover a forgotten password.
